GANG REDUCTION YOUTH DEVELOPMENT (GRYD)

This program, serving the Panorama City/Mission area has begun.  The collaborative (NDY, Cloud and Fire, Jeopardy and ECDA) is actively doing outreach and recruitment for youth between the ages of 10 and 15, who are most vulnerable to joining a gang and have begun exhibiting risk factors.  Liliana and Luann have been attending meetings with Mid Valley Police Department, Mission Police Station, and S.F.V. Coalition on Gangs, C.P. Coalition on Gangs, Panorama City Youth and Family Collaborative and YSET training's; to date, three clients have been enrolled and services will soon be starting.
