LITERACY AND COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY LEARNING CENTER

Parents have been doing a wonderful job recruiting new students for the program that we had to change our schedule once again to give new students an opportunity to be part of the program. Unfortunately this means that students will be reduced to come only twice a week. Many of our new parents are very excited that their children will finally receive some help that they are unable to provide due to a language barrier. This leaves our other parents a bit disappointed because they would like to have their children come on a daily basis. I would really like to accept more students to the program, but it’s a bit difficult to do so with one adult. I would also like to work more with students one on one, but again this is hard to do with one adult. I’m pleased to announce that we have 38 students enrolled.

The Girl’s Scout will soon be using the facility for their program on Tuesdays to start everything is being provided at no cost to the girls. Sara is the Service Specialist for the Girls Scouts.
